“On April 10 – 11, 2020 a historic event will be held in Chandigarh, India: an academic conference on Ayurveda and Medical Astrology. The presentations at this conference will emphasize evidence-based research and practices. Ancient methods of healing and astrology are critically assessed and applied within the context of a modern scientifically and empirically oriented approach. My personal view from decades of study of astrology from its very ancient past to modern times is that the progress of humanity over the millennia has not been a simple progression forwards, but rather has been a meandering path forward where great progress is made but some golden nuggets of wisdom and understanding have been lost along the way. The deepest fulfillment and progress for all of us together on this planet we share will require retrieving those gold nuggets and leaving behind the “fool’s gold” of past mining into the nature of life behind. The Vedic Mantham is an enormous step forward in achieving this goal. I am greatly honored to be a member of the Vedic Manthan 2020 International Advisory Board.
