1. The applicant individual / organisation must be working in the field of Ayurveda and Medical Astrology and using a combination of both for treating patients
2. The applicant individual / organisation should be implementing an initiative should have a proven impact in lieu with the objective laid down for the award.
3. The applicant entity must be registered in India or have a subsidiary / alliance and should not be indulged in any practice which stands as illegal or not as per the minimum standards of the governing body
4. The initiative should have an implementing duration of at-least 3 or more months and should have been in continuation / completed

This category of the award is for those Astrologers who have been including the concepts of Ayurveda like Plants, Herbs, Yog and so on in their practices and treating or diagnosing diseases.

Using both together to predict the forthcoming health issues and risks of a person, well in advance and assisting with Vedic remedies for an Ayurvedic Treatment to follow or to be included.

Vedic Manthan 2020’s ‘Lifetime Achievement Award’ recognizes an individual who has exhibited outstanding, creative, innovative and visionary leadership in the growth and advancement of the subject pertaining to a combination of Ayurveda and Medical Astrology. The award aims at recognizing the efforts of the individual whose practice stands as a model for the future generations, encourage them in preserving the practices of our fore-generations, setting benchmarks and for persistently gaining excellence in the deliverances.

Best Research Award is for an individual/organisation that has produced an Ayurvedic Medicine using the essence of Medical Astrology. The product should be well-researched, should define research problem, methodology used, parameters, sample size and conclusions. This award is designated for those Ayurved and Astrology organization / individual practitioners who have done research in the relevant field, that caters to real-time problems. The research paper should have been published in any Journal or Conference Proceedings and the research should be recent (3years)

iii) Best Poster Award

The ‘Best Poster Award’ motivates and encourages the participants (not just restricted to students) who can present a paper in the form of a Scientific Poster which contains a problem with an innovative solution. The presenters shall give an oral presentation at the Summit for the top 10 selected posters.

The participants stand the chance to bag the ‘Best Poster Award’ while getting an opportunity to get their poster included in the Annual Journal disseminated nationally as well as internationally.

iv) Global Promotion Award

The ‘Global Promotion Award’ is to recognize major achievements with proven impact for health gains in countries by individuals / organizations using the combination of Ayurveda and Medical Astrology, to support global innovations. Any individual or organisation that has been globally promoting the combination can apply for the award. Promotion can be through awareness talks, by contribution in research carried at global level, through programmes/courses for global participants or any other.

Evaluation of the Applications
The applications will be evaluated on a 100 point grading system broadly classified into 02 major categories as described below:

Measurable Results

An impact of an initiative by an individual or an organization is majorly evaluated with its measurable results in comparison with the baseline data. The impact of an initiative in the field of health, using a combination of Ayurveda and Medical Astrology, will always be in terms of the health benefits of the target groups. Ideally, the results in measurable outcomes should be such as the improvement in the health conditions of a target group, achievements in treating certain prolonged diseases otherwise turned out by other available facilities, non-burdening the beneficiaries with the financial loads and so on.

Evidence-based Practice

The legitimacy of an innovative initiative and its relevancy are examined and evaluated on the basis of the professional research involved and its applications. The individuals or the organizations who have a thorough evidence-based practice being adopted, will always cite their research while stating the consultations and the recommendations being applied in the development of their initiative in proven methods. For example, a demonstrable evidence-based practice could be a research that has led to the development of an initiative and its methodology is used in demonstrating significant improvement.

1. The Awards is an initiative of ‘School of Healing’. All the applicants for the same, do hereby agree to the process published and cannot challenge it, in any manner.
2. The applicant for the Awards, by applying, agrees with the decision and the outcome of the process, under all circumstances.
3. The Jury retains the rights to accept or reject an applicants’ applications without giving any reason whatsoever it may be.
4. All the incomplete application forms will be rejected without any reason being given there of
5. All / any applicant needs to submit any / more information sought from the applicants by the Jury
6. If the host / organizers comes to know, at any time, during / post the evaluation, that the information provided by the applicant is incorrect and non-factual, then the application will be rejected
7. Applications submitted in the prescribed format and facilitated with the requisite information sought, will only be considered
8. The host / organizers reserves the right to cancel the awards, under unavoidable circumstances and the applicants will abide by the decision taken.
