BEST POSTER AWARD

The ‘Best Poster Award’ motivates and encourages the participants, as presenting a poster enables the participants in explaining a concept in different ways and see which explanation is well received. At the same, honoring one’s ability to communicate verbally hones their ability to present information visually in a simple way. With this activity, we intend to motivate the students, practitioners and experts to have a massive exchange of true and crude knowledge, surpassing ordinary books, visually.

IMPORTANT POINTS

  1. The nominations are not just restricted to students, they can be from anyone.
  2. Top 10 selected Posters will be displayed
  3. Judgement by Jury will be on 2nd Day of the Summit
  4. Winners Announcement and Felicitation will be on the same day.
  5. Topic of Best Poster Award is ‘Impact of Ayurved and Medical Astrology’
  6. Inclusion of the winning Poster in Annual Journal, disseminated Nationally as well as Internationally
  7. Certificate of Participation to all Participants

HOW TO APPLY

a) A participation fee of Rs 199/- is to be paid to apply for the award.
b) Only top 10 Posters will quality for the presentation dusring the summit
c) After online fee payment the application are requested to send their Poster Abstract of 200 words with name of Presenting author clearly stating the career level to the email I.D – bpa@sh024.global.temp.domains

AWARD CRITERIA

The award criteria will be as follows:
a) Scientific Content (1-5)
b) Design of the Poster (1-5)
c) Clarity of the Oral Presentation during the Poster Presentation Session
In the final score, the count will be based on the Weightage as follows: a – 50%, b – 25% and c – 25% respectively

*Contestants MUST be present at the poster during the specified sessions, otherwise the poster will not be evaluated.

GUIDELINES

Important information for poster presentations

a) The poster area will be in the conference area. Poster presenting authors can display their poster during the day for presentation on Day 2, May the 9th, 2020.
b) You are expected to put up the poster in the morning, before 10 a.m. Please remove your poster in the afternoon before 15:30 P. M. Posters not withdrawn after the deadlines will not be saved.
c) While preparing the poster, presenters should have in mind, the objective of capturing the interest of attendees to the work that is being presented. The quality of the presentation stimulates the attention from the audience and improves the overall satisfaction of the community attending the conference. Use an appropriate font size allowing posters to be readable by delegates from 1 to 5 m away.

The poster message should be clear and understandable without oral explanation. Further, we would like to call the attention of poster presenters to the following items:

1) Each poster board is marked with a poster ID-number. Please find your poster ID-number in the Online program (available later the printed or PDF version).
2) Authors are requested to use only the boards provided for their poster.
3) Posters should be fixed to the poster board using the Velcro tape provided on site at the poster hall.
4) Authors are required to stand by their posters during their whole scheduled poster session time.
5) The maximum and recommended  size of your poster is A0 poster in ‘Portrait’ (vertical) format. A0 measures 841mm wide x 1189mm high. Please note that there is not enough space for posters bigger than the stated size or posters in landscape. No audio-visual equipment is allowed at the posters.
